This church owned the original church building and a nearby educational building, each with its own design and not complementary to each other. The congregation outgrew its sanctuary and the education building was bulging at the seams. The challenge was to utilize the existing buildings while expanding the facilities to fulfill their current and future needs. We designed a new sanctuary, offices, classrooms, and narthex between the two buildings. The design of the educations building was changed, but the brick was matched to tie the three buildings together. The original sanctuary was converted into a fellowship hall for gathering before and after the church service and other church activities.
