As luck would have it we were contacted by the client to design a restaurant with a German flare shortly after I returned from a vacation in Germany. We sorted through the many photos I had taken of buildings to settle on the design. Several years after the restaurant was completed, we were asked to design an addition which is the front half of the building with the fireplace and German style chimney.
